The mission of the Chamber is to serve as the premier vehicle for business networking and information exchange within the Hungarian-American business community in California.  In order to achieve the mission described the Chamber shall:

(a)    provide a networking society for Hungarian and American members in California. The network consists of the Hungarian business community based in California and the local American companies with business interests in Hungary;

(b)   organize networking, cultural, and social events, publish an e-newsletter, and promote Hungarian-American business;

(c)    work in close collaboration with other Hungarian – American organizations, as well as the Consulate General of Hungary to facilitate information exchange and to foster the Hungarian-American community in California;

(d)   maintain cordial relationships with Hungarian chambers of commerce, Hungarian Ministries, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other chambers of commerce and similar organizations in the United States and abroad;

(e)   represent and assist its entire membership and sub-groups of its membership with business and economic issues concerning them;

(f)     strive for constructive solutions to trade and economic problems related to Hungarian – U.S. business relations especially in California;

(g)    promote measures which benefit and protect the interests of the Members;

(h)   promote legal and ethical conduct of business;

(i)      collect and disseminate information for the Members in order to help them become familiar with regulations that concern them;

(j)     organize presentations, roundtable discussions, seminars and public relations activities;

(k)    assist Members considering or engaged in economic activity in California or in Hungary ;
